I helped a woman with stage 3 breast cancer today. She came in for a wig consultation (free service we provide) and had her 3 year old daughter with her. Haylie tried on wigs too and she was so adorable, everyone in the office was smitten.

I love what I’m doing. I really feel like I’m helping people and it’s about so much more than just throwing money at a cause. I can actually help make a difference in people’s lives and that is the greatest feeling in the world.

I adore the people I work with and think they’re amazing. The office is filled with pink (Strides) and purple (Relay) and is just such a fun and supportive environment.

I know there are going to be long, hard days, but in the end it’s so worth it.

My best friend’s godmother is only 60 and yet she only has a few weeks to live. She has an extremely rare cancer that’s spread to her lungs and brain. I had absolutely no idea this was going on until JJ called me out of the blue tonight and told me. I offered my condolences and told her I could get info and support for her family through ACS, but it’s just not enough. It will never be enough until this disease is beaten.

I’m so scared I won’t be able to have kids.
